The Palisades Tahoe ski resort is the largest ski area at Lake Tahoe. The two sections of the resort, Olympic Valley (formerly Squaw Valley) and Alpine Meadows, offer more than 270 different runs. The modern 8-seater gondola lift Base to Base has connected the two resort sections since the 2022/23 season. Palisades Tahoe spans 8 peaks: Snow King (2302 m), Broken Arrow (2447 m), KT-22 (2459 m), Emigrant (2674 m), Washeshu Peak (2708 m), Granite Chief (2745 m), Ward Peak (2633 m), and Scott Peak (2526 m).
