Expansion Northstar at Tahoe

Northstar is expanding its ski area by nearly 690,000 square meters, or almost ten soccer fields, in the 2011/2012 winter season. This will open up two large new areas around "Lookout Mountain" for skiing and boarding off-piste. For the first time this season, Northstar is also offering guided freeski tours and catskiing for experienced skiers. With the expansion of the area, Northstar now offers its guests access to a total of 13 square kilometers of ski terrain – both on and off the slopes.
