The Niseko United ski resort consists of four interconnected areas. These provide access to the slopes of Mt. Niseko Annupuri (1,308 m), a volcano. The Hanazono area is located in the north, followed clockwise by Niseko Grand Hirafu and Niseko Village. Niseko Annupuri, on the southern slope of the mountain, completes the circuit. The ski resort is one of the largest in Japan.
