Access, Parking Nakiska

The Nakiska ski resort is located in Kananaskis County in the Province of Alberta. It is in the Canadian Rocky Mountains only 45 minutes away from Calgary. The well-built Kananaskis Trail 40 leads from the Trans-Canada Highway about 23 km to the turnoff for the ski resort. It is only about 2 km to the expansive parking lot. Parking is free of charge and you can walk comfortably to the slopes and lifts from the parking lot.

Winter Closure

The Nakiska ski resort can only be accessed via the Kananaskis Trail 40 from the Trans-Canada Highway. The access from Longview on the Kananaskis Trail 40 is closed during the winter.
