New since the 2024/25 winter season: our KINDERLAND in the valley. At the valley station, getting started in winter sports is child's play! Two conveyor belts (24m and 75m) ensure easy uphill rides, so little ones can playfully try their first turns on the snow in gentle terrain. Perfect for the ski stars of tomorrow.2021/2022
New ski rental and service station
The single-story building houses a sports shop, a ski and bike rental, a workshop, a standing bistro with self-service machines, ticket counters, and pick-up machines on the ground floor, covering approximately 370 m². The upper floor, measuring 260 m², features staff rooms, a lounge for bus drivers, as well as technical and storage rooms. Additionally, there is space planned for a second shop area on the upper floor. The ski rental is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. The shop offers high-quality products.

With the start of the 2019/2020 winter season, 246 additional parking spaces will be available in Mönichkirchen in the area of the Sonnenbahn valley station.

Tunnel in the shape of a giant milk can
The tunnel in the shape of a giant milk can is located on the so-called Lella run—the descent from the Mönichkirchner Schwaig down to the valley—and is a special highlight especially for the youngest skiers.
Alm swing
The Almschaukel is a viewing platform near the mountain station of the Schwaigbahn. It is equipped with relaxation elements and offers a stunning view over the Mönichkirchner Schwaig.
