The evaluation is done as follows
Environmental protection of the ski resort Meiringen-Hasliberg
Environmental friendliness and sustainability are top priorities in Meiringen-Hasliberg. Throughout the ski area, there are extensive wildlife protection zones that are off-limits to skiers. Since 2010, the Meiringen-Hasliberg mountain railways have been operating their piste machines with the more environmentally friendly diesel fuel Eco-Speed-Mountain. The excellent connection of the mountain railways to public transport is also beneficial. The local gastronomy contributes to environmental protection by focusing heavily on regional products.
- Train connection
Meiringen train station is located just under a kilometer from the valley station. Trains from Lucerne to Meiringen run every hour. The connection towards Brienz/Interlaken is even better, with trains running every 30 minutes. The best way to reach the Hasliberg access points is from Brünig-Hasliberg station. This station is served hourly by trains from both Lucerne and Interlaken. Coordinated with the train schedule, buses run every hour from here to Hasliberg Reuti. Along the route, the bus also stops in the other districts of Hasliberg. - Ski buses
