In Mayrhofen, there are many accommodations located directly at the Penkenbahn as well as the Ahornbahn. The Penkenbahn starts right in the center of Mayrhofen. Since there is no valley run along the Penkenbahn, you take the Penkenbahn back down to the valley in the evening. If you spend the day on the Ahorn, you can ski all the way down to the valley in Mayrhofen. Accommodations in Finkenberg, Lanersbach, Vorderlanersbach, Stockach, and Hochschwendberg are partly located directly at the feeder lifts.
