The village of Malbun is accessible by public transport and can only be reached by car to a limited extent during the winter months. The mountain restaurants place great emphasis on regional products and offer local specialties. Snowmaking is done exclusively with pure water, without any additives.

The nearest train stations are in Sargans (24 km) and Feldkirch (25 km). Buses run every hour, and the journey from both stations takes one hour with a transfer in Vaduz. - Comprehensive ski bus network
- Scheduled buses
- Between 7:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., regular buses run hourly from Vaduz to Malbun. On weekends and during school holidays, additional ski buses are provided. Travel between Steg and Malbun is free of charge on both regular and ski buses.
