In Les 3 Vallées, the renewal process of the lift systems is continuously progressing, so drag lifts are becoming less and less necessary. Most modern lifts consist of gondolas and detachable chairlifts – ideal for comfortable rides without long waiting times. While there are still some older chairlifts, concrete plans are already in place to replace them with modern facilities. The only downside: weather protection covers or heated seats are only available on a few chairlifts.
