Alp 2500 connects the winter sports areas of Masella and La Molina. La Molina is the oldest ski resort in Spain and opened its first ski lift in 1943. Skiing and snowboarding are possible on slopes of all difficulty levels. These are mainly served by chairlifts. The ski area is located about a two-hour drive from Barcelona, near the French border by Puigcerdà.
