The evaluation is done as follows
Advanced skiing, freeriding (powder snow skiing) Kronplatz (Plan de Corones)
Kronplatz offers very attractive and challenging black slopes. A highlight is the Black Five Challenge, where you have to conquer 5 black slopes throughout the ski area: the valley runs Sylvester and Herrnegg towards Reischach, the Pre da Peres slope, the famous Ski World Cup downhill Erta, and the Piculin slope. Since winter 2023/24, the Sorega slope, a variant of the Erta slope, has enriched the black slopes at Kronplatz.
The very difficult Piculin run is one of the steepest slopes in Italy and has been awarded "Best Black Run" several times. The offer for freeriders is limited.
- few freeride/deep snow areas
- few mogul slopes
Total
| Difficult | 29 km (24 %) |
- Piculin descent · Length 2 km · Elevation difference 530 m
With a 72% gradient, this is the steepest slope at Kronplatz and also one of the steepest slopes in Italy.
General note: Always mind the avalanche warnings and barriers, please. Never ski into a closed and unsecured area.
