The slope preparation is excellent.
The grooming machines are in operation daily after closing time. At Kitzsteinhorn, great importance is placed on making the most of the advantages of altitude and temperature conditions to provide an optimal slope with a smooth surface. The slopes at Maiskogel are also groomed to be very even. This guarantees the best conditions for enjoyable skiing all the way down to Kaprun.
General note: By new snow, an optimal slope preparation is not always possible, even with a large effort. In addition, the new snow can not combine with the snow lying underneath and moguls are created quickly. For safety reasons, usually no slope preparation is possible during operating times.
