Since December 2019, the Kitzsteinhorn and the Maiskogel have been connected by the spectacular 3K K-onnection. The continuous cable car link Kaprun-Maiskogel-Kitzsteinhorn makes a long-held dream of the region come true. The family ski area on the Maiskogel starts directly in Kaprun. Most slopes are accessed by a state-of-the-art 10-seater gondola lift with a mid-station. From the Maiskogel, the ultra-modern tricable gondola lift 3K K-onnection leads up to the Langwiedboden in the glacier ski area of Kitzsteinhorn. The Kitzsteinhorn is the highest ski area and the only glacier ski area in the Salzburger Land. The slopes are beautifully wide, and the plateau as well as the views make the terrain feel very spacious.
