From typical Austrian dishes to international delicacies, from quiet sun terraces to après-ski at the umbrella bar. Choices are made according to taste and altitude. At Maiskogel, you'll find rustic ski huts and traditional mountain inns, both self-service and with table service. The atmosphere in the huts is very family-friendly. The spacious sun terraces invite you to take a long, relaxing break.

Gipfel Restaurant

At the mountain station at 3,029 m in Gipfelwelt 3000 and Salzburg's highest restaurant

The Gipfel Restaurant offers culinary delights with a magnificent view of Austria's highest mountains and is directly connected to Gipfelwelt 3000. Salzburg's highest-altitude restaurant features both a self-service area and a serviced area.

Gletschermühle

At the Alpincenter at 2,450 m

In the brand-new restaurant, typical Austrian dishes are served. You can enjoy a golden Wiener Schnitzel, Pinzgauer Kasnock'n served in a cast-iron pan, or a wide selection of legendary Austrian desserts. Wines from renowned Austrian winemakers are also available by the glass. Since March 2010, the restaurant has been a member of the Genusswirte Österreichs, making it the highest-altitude Genusswirt in Austria.

Alpincenter

Everyone will find something at the Alpincenter – the self-service restaurant offers pizza, pasta, burgers, a grill station, salad buffet, as well as regional specialties and desserts at various counters.

At the valley station of the MK Maiskogelbahn in Kaprun

The Alpine Lifestyle Restaurant Baumbar offers culinary delights of the highest quality in 7 different restaurants and lounges. In good weather, the sun terrace is especially inviting. Carefully selected wines from the wine cellar perfectly complement a meal by the fireplace or by candlelight. The Baumbar is also known as "Schnitzelkönig," as it serves some of the best schnitzels in the region.

Krefelder Hütte

Below the Alpincenter on slope 11 at 2,300 m

The cozy hut of the German Alpine Club, located between the Alpincenter and Langwiedboden, offers traditional fare and delicious dumpling dishes. From the sun terrace, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Kitzsteinhorn.

Alpengasthaus Glocknerblick

From the rustic hut, you have a magnificent view over the Dachstein massif and towards the Großglockner, the Steinernes Meer, the Hochkönig, and the Schmittenhöhe. Local specialties and a cozy atmosphere are, of course, also available.
