Family offers/child-friendly rating Kitzsteinhorn/Maiskogel – Kaprun
For kids and teens aged 6 to 19, there is a special offer on the ski pass every Saturday. The fun slope "Eagle Line" and the "Maisi Park" provide children with plenty of fun on the slopes. Other highlights include the Gipfelwelt 3000 and the Alpin Coaster Maisiflitzer. At Langwiedboden, the Kinderland of the Skischule Oberschneider offers the best conditions for children. The Maiskogel ski area is ideal for families thanks to its gentle terrain. The family run and Schaufelberg run at the MK Maiskogelbahn (gondola lift) are easy and wide. The Maisilift (button lift) at the mid-station serves its own beginner area.

Eagle Line
The Eagle Line is especially fun for children. Steep turns, small jumps, and special obstacles provide plenty of enjoyment.
Gipfelwelt 3000
The Gipfelwelt 3000 is the highest point accessible by cable car in the Salzburger Land, situated at 3,029 meters. For families, the summit station offers a high-alpine experience. It features Salzburg’s highest panoramic platform (Top of Salzburg), a summit restaurant, the Cinema 3000, the Nationalpark Gallery, and the Nationalpark Gallery platform.
Alpine Coaster Maisiflitzer
The Alpin Coaster Maisiflitzer, also known as the Alpine Roller Coaster, promises passengers an exciting ride down into the valley. The sleds can reach speeds of up to 40 km/h for the truly daring. Built-in jumps and wave tracks – on the Kaprun track there are even 5 spirals – significantly increase the thrill factor. However, the loops and bridges can also be taken at a more leisurely pace: the speed is controlled by the rider. The start and finish of the track are located directly at the parking lot of the MK Maiskogelbahn.
Maisi Park
The Maisi Park is located at the Maisilift on the Maiskogel. It is the ideal springboard for young freestylers. In addition to fun animal figures, it offers elements for children with rails, kickers, and wave tracks.
Children's Area of the Oberschneider Ski School
At Langwiedboden at 1,976 m, children are welcomed by mascot Bobo in the Kinderland of the Oberschneider Ski School. When the penguin is not causing mischief, children learn to ski at the ski carousel and the rope lift.
