In Kitzbühel and Kirchberg alone, there are around 120 km of cross-country ski trails. With connections to the Pinzgauloipe and the Brixental, more than 500 km of trails are available. Most of these routes are designed for enjoyment. The majority of the valley floor trails are easy to ski, without extreme ascents or descents. All trails in and around Kitzbühel can be used free of charge. In addition, there are two high-altitude trails on the Kitzbüheler Horn and on the Resterhöhe. The high-altitude trail on the Horn offers variety for both beginners and advanced skiers, while the tracks on the Resterkogel impress with magnificent views reaching as far as the Hohe Tauern.
