The Hahnenkammbahn in Kitzbühel is part of a special tradition: the names of the winners of the famous and notorious Hahnenkamm races on the Streif and Ganslernhang are immortalized on the gondolas. The 6-seater gondola lift has already been modernized twice: in 2011, the cabins were equipped with heated seats, and in 2017, the lift’s capacity was increased by 200 to 2,200 people per hour.
