The new 6-seater chairlift Gauxjoch replaces the Gauxjoch drag lift. In addition to significantly increased comfort and much higher transport capacity, the modern lift system from Leitner offers considerably more safety and a more relaxed ride. By eliminating two crossings of the drag track with the slope, potential danger spots on the slope are also removed.
The route of the Gauxjoch 6-seater chairlift has been shifted a few meters to the north and slightly realigned, making the system less susceptible to wind. Direct drive and intelligent control systems, such as frequency-controlled operating speed, enable energy-efficient operation. A powerful photovoltaic system at the stations provides environmentally friendly electricity.
