The new Raintal 10-seater gondola lift comes from Leitner. The route has been optimized so that the gondola lift in Pininfarina design offers better connections. Combined with increased comfort and the significantly shortened travel time, the lift represents a leap in quality at the Kitzbüheler Horn.
The Raintalbahn, a Comfortline S model from Leitner, replaces the Raintal 2-seater chairlift. Thanks to the new route, it requires less than half the number of supports and only about 10% of the operating equipment. The travel time is now only a third of the previous duration. The transport capacity has nevertheless been slightly increased.
The new valley station of the Raintal 10-seater gondola lift is located about 500 m further west and 180 meters higher in elevation than the old entry point. The new mountain station is situated directly at the summit house, 100 m higher and about 300 m further north, right next to the mountain stations of the Brunelle 6-seater chairlift and the Horn-Gipfelbahn. The stations feature a minimalist design with shingle, concrete, and glass facades, are equipped with maximum functionality, and styled in Pininfarina design.
The cabins of the new lift system are "Symphony 10 cabins" with Pininfarina design. They offer a wider entrance with sliding doors for significantly easier boarding and alighting. The individual seats are ergonomically shaped and feature seat heating and genuine leather upholstery. Thanks to the above-average length and width of the cabins, the seats are wider and the distance to the person opposite is greater. Thanks to the innovative, tasteful design, the cabins become wider and more spacious towards the top, noticeably increasing personal space and overall comfort.
