The Ochsalmbahn is equipped with weather protection covers and heated seats. Since the 2021/22 season, the chairlift has offered an Intelligent Heat Detector (IHD). Using a heat sensor on a reference vehicle of the installation as well as the access gates, the IHD system can automatically regulate the seat heating, thus contributing to energy savings and the sustainable use of seat heating. The 8-seater chairlift has replaced the old Maierl III double chairlift.
