The Kaunertal Glacier is considered a medium-sized ski area. The slopes on the glacier are very wide, and from Falginjoch to Ochsenalm you cover almost a thousand meters of elevation. In 2021, the ski area around the Weißseejoch was expanded. Now, with three cable cars, you can reach the highest peaks: Falginjochbahn (3,113 m), Karlesjochbahn (3,108 m), and Weißseejochbahn (3,044 m). All three mountain stations are located directly on the Austrian-Italian border.
