Getting to the ski area is a bit more difficult, as you cannot drive directly to the valley station by car. The nearest motorway is 36 km away. You have to park on the outskirts of Zakopane, where parking fees are quite high. From there, you can take a paid minibus or enjoy a romantic ride in a horse-drawn carriage to the valley station.
