Kappl offers several challenging black slopes. Various ski routes also provide plenty of variety. In addition, there is a large, unsecured ski area for freeriders. Kappl is the venue for well-known freeride events. The ski school Kappl Aktiv offers freeride courses. At the mountain station of the Diasbahn, there is a freeride checkpoint as well as an avalanche transceiver checkpoint with the motto "Safety first." In spring, ideal conditions invite you to enjoy skiing on corn snow.
