The Wimbachexpress, a new 10-seater gondola lift from Leitner, replaces the Krössbichl 4-seater chairlift in the Hochzillertal ski area. Thanks to an optimized and extended route, the new lift also opens up new slopes. At the same time, the new exclusive mountain restaurant Albergo is being built at the mountain station.
The new Wimbachexpress brings a significant quality upgrade to the Hochzillertal area. The route of the 10-seater gondola lift is almost half a kilometer longer than that of its predecessor, the Krössbichl 4-seater chairlift.
The valley station of the new lift is located in the same place. However, the mountain station is about 180 meters higher and significantly further west. This makes it easier to access the already existing, attractive slopes, while at the same time creating additional new slopes starting from the mountain station of the Wimbachexpress.
The mountain station of the new 10-seater gondola Wimbachexpress also houses the new exclusive Albergo restaurant with Italian specialties.
