The June Mountain ski resort is located not far from Highway 395. The highway connects Los Angeles and Reno. Snowstorms can often make the highway impassable, so it may happen that you have to wait a few hours until the highway has been cleared. At the base station, you will find plenty of paved parking spaces. Winter Closure
Access through Yosemite National Park is closed in winter.
