For over 20 years, the Pardoramabahn—formerly known as Pardatschgratbahn—served as the connection from Ischgl in the valley to the Pardatschgrat. In 2014, the new Pardatschgratbahn, an ultra-modern 3S cable car, took over this function. The first section of the 4-seater gondola lift was dismantled. The upper section of the lift was preserved and is now operating under the name Pardoramabahn.
