The new 8-seater chairlift Sassgalun replaces the 6-seater chairlift Sassgalun on the same route. The roofs of the lift stations are equipped with photovoltaic systems. The lift also features state-of-the-art entry and exit monitoring (AURO: Autonomous Ropeway Operation) by Doppelmayr. Another highlight: it is the shortest 8-seater chairlift in the world.
