The new Höllbodenbahn replaces the 8-seater chairlift Höllboden on an optimized route. The mountain station is now located about 500 m east of the Idalp. The rerouting of the lift line and the repositioning of the mountain station improve the crossing situation at the Idalp. In terms of technology, the lift is state-of-the-art and is equipped with Doppelmayr's highly modern entry and exit monitoring system (AURO: Autonomous Ropeway Operation). The roof surfaces of the lift facility are used for photovoltaic systems.
