Velilleckbahn (YOC 2019)
New 6-seater chairlift to Pardatschgrat

The new Velilleckbahn F1 is another highlight in Ischgl. The state-of-the-art 6-seater chairlift, a D-Line chairlift from Doppelmayr, replaces the former Velilleck double chairlift of the same name. The route has also been extended up to the Pardatschgrat, providing access to the attractive slopes at the upper Pardatschgrat and in the Velill valley. From the cable wheel to the seats, everything has once again been designed entirely in the Ischgl style. With a speed of 6 m/s, the Velilleckbahn is the fastest chairlift in the Silvretta Arena and the only chairlift visible from the village of Ischgl. The D-Line chairlift had its first day of operation on November 30, 2019.

The valley station of the new Velilleck six-seater chairlift is located at the same site as its predecessor. However, the lift line has been slightly shifted and extended by 1,353 m, making it more than three times as long. As a result, the new mountain station is located right next to that of the Gratbahn at the Pardatschgrat.

The operating equipment of the comfortable Velilleckbahn from Doppelmayr is equipped with weather protection covers and safety bars. On the back of each chair, there is an image of a native plant species. The ergonomically shaped individual seats feature comfort padding and seat heating. The D-Line lift impresses with the highest level of passenger comfort thanks to its particularly quiet operation and low vibration, as well as easy, time-saving maintenance and much more.
