The new detachable 8-seater chairlift Visnitzbahn N2 replaces the old Visnitzbahn on a modified route from Alp Trida to Visnitzkopf. The modern feeder lift to Alp Bella is the first D-Line 8-seater chairlift by Doppelmayr in Switzerland and offers significantly increased ride comfort and higher transport capacity.
The valley station of the new Visnitzbahn has been repositioned compared to its predecessor and is now located east of the mountain restaurant "Skihaus Alp Trida" with direct access to ski run 68b. The route to Visnitzkopf has thus been shifted slightly to the east.
The new 8-seater chairlift offers more comfort and a higher transport capacity compared to the old Visnitzbahn. The chairs of the new lift are equipped with especially wide, comfortable individual seats, seat heating, and weather protection covers. The backs of the new D-Line chairs are decorated with images depicting the history of Samnaun.
