The evaluation is done as follows
Advanced skiing, freeriding (powder snow skiing) Hochkönig – Maria Alm/Dienten/Mühlbach
Experts will find black slopes at Aberg-Langeck, Gabühel, Wastlhöhe, and Schneeberg. In particular, the ski routes at Aberg-Langeck are not to be underestimated. There are also frequent opportunities to venture into deep powder snow. For improved safety, a Freeride Info Point is available at the Aberg mid-station. The open ski area is generously sized, but the forest areas are strictly off-limits.
