The slope preparation is excellent.
In the Hochkönig ski area, the slopes are optimally groomed every night. As a result, the slopes are in impeccable condition. From 4:30 p.m., the slope is closed without exception due to grooming work – this also applies to ski tourers.
General note: By new snow, an optimal slope preparation is not always possible, even with a large effort. In addition, the new snow can not combine with the snow lying underneath and moguls are created quickly. For safety reasons, usually no slope preparation is possible during operating times.
