Access, Parking Hochkönig – Maria Alm/Dienten/Mühlbach
The Hochkönig ski area in the Salzburger Land is located between Bischofshofen and Saalfelden am Steinernen Meer. Depending on your entry point, it is between 15 and just under 40 kilometers from the Tauern motorway, Bischofshofen/Knoten Pongau exit. At all valley stations, you will usually find plenty of free parking spaces. If you are coming from Germany, you can reach the area toll-free via the A8 exit Traunstein/Siegsdorf through Lofer. Day guests arriving via Maria Alm are best advised to start at the Aberg or Sonnbergbahn.
