The romantic mountain village of Heiligenblut is situated around the Heiligenblut parish church at an altitude of 1,301 m. The Heiligenblut parish church with the Großglockner (the highest mountain in Austria) in the background is one of the most famous photo motifs in Austria. The Rossbach gondola lift starts directly from Heiligenblut. Accommodation ranges from pampering programs in 4-star hotels to guesthouses, bed and breakfasts, private rentals, and farm stays. There is something for every guest. Some accommodations are located right at the valley station of the gondola lift. In the ski area, directly on the slopes, there are also several accommodations, such as the highest-altitude inn in Austria – the Wallackhaus.
