The Gålå ski area stretches across both sides at the end of the lake. The main peak in this very snow-sure ski area is Valsfjell. Most of the slopes in the Gålå ski area are easy and very well suited for children and beginners. Gålå is less known for alpine skiing and more as a very popular Nordic winter sports destination with beautifully situated cross-country trails. Social gatherings and stunning natural surroundings form the foundation for all activities in the Gålå Ski Arena.
