No black slopesDescription Flachauwinkl/Kleinarl (Shuttleberg)
You can access the Shuttleberg Flachauwinkl-Kleinarl ski area directly from the Flachauwinkl motorway exit or from Kleinarl. The lifts take you from Flachauwinkl over the Shuttleberg (Mooskopf 1980m) across to Kleinarl. Two modern six-seater chairlifts with weather protection hoods (Sunshine Shuttle and Family Shuttle) take you up towards the Shuttleberg. After a short descent, the six-seater chairlift Powder Shuttle brings you up to the Mooskopf.
At the top, there is a wide range of options: carving slope, speed skiing, kids park, timed run, and plenty of easy to intermediate descents. An easy run takes you along the Bubble Shuttle down to the mid-station, and an intermediate slope leads down to Kleinarl. The Champion Shuttle, a six-seater chairlift, and the Bubble Shuttle, a four-seater chairlift, quickly and safely bring winter sports enthusiasts back up to the Mooskopf.
A very long descent then starts back down to Flachauwinkl. You pass the detachable six-seater chairlift with weather protection hoods, Absolut Shuttle, which takes you up to the mountain station of the Family Shuttle if needed, from where you can cruise down an intermediate run to the mid-station.
There are plenty of charming, rustic huts throughout the ski area for a break. Après-ski is also well taken care of—whether you prefer a cozy spot up on the mountain or one of the umbrella bars at the valley stations in Flachauwinkl or Kleinarl.
