The ski resort of Fernie cares deeply about its magnificent mountain environment. The resort is committed to sustainable operations in order to keep its impact on nature as minimal as possible. Ski runs are only opened when there is sufficient snow. Great importance is placed on waste separation throughout the resort. The only drawback: some lifts are still powered by diesel.
