Access, Parking Fellhorn/Kanzelwand – Oberstdorf/Riezlern
The cross-border ski area has two entry points: The Fellhornbahn in Germany is located 7 km south of Oberstdorf in the Allgäu region, and the Kanzelwandbahn in Austria is situated in Riezlern in the Kleinwalsertal. In Riezlern, parking spaces are subject to charges and are limited. Day visitors are better off parking at the paid parking lots at the Fellhornbahn. Since the expansion of the Kempten-Sonthofen route into a four-lane expressway, the ski area can be quickly reached from the A7 Ulm-Füssen motorway. Access from the south is not possible, as the Kleinwalsertal is a dead end.
