Ski trail from the Gaistalbahn back to the Ehrwalder Alm, parking fees at the valley stationDescription Ehrwalder Alm – Ehrwald
In about 20 minutes from Garmisch, you reach the first village in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena – Ehrwald. Below the mighty Zugspitze massif, you can carve your turns on beautiful forest runs without waiting in line.
A modern eight-person gondola takes you up to the Ehrwalder Alm. From here, you can cross over to the 6-seater chairlift Issentalkopf with weather protection hoods and heated seats, which brings you to the highest point in the ski area at 1,925 meters. From up here, you have a magnificent view into the Gaistal valley all the way to Seefeld and across the Tiroler Zugspitz region. Slightly below, the detachable 6-seater chairlift Gaistal with weather protection hoods and heated seats ends. Runs of all difficulty levels start here back down to the valley, and a beautiful easy run leads down to the Gaistalbahn. This run is perfect for families and pleasure skiers. The lift conveniently and quickly brings you back up to the Issentalkopf.
On the easy valley run, the detachable 6-seater chairlift 6er Blitz Ganghofer with weather protection hoods starts and gives access to beautiful, easy to intermediate runs. Two additional drag lifts provide further ascent options on the Ehrwalder Alm, and beginners will find rope tows and conveyor belts near the mountain station of the gondola. The run down to the valley station winds as an easy slope directly to the gondola, so even less experienced skiers and snowboarders can ride all the way down to the valley. To top off your day, be sure to stop by the new BrentAlm.
