Since the 2010/2011 season, the ski area has been operated by new owners under the name Eagle Point (formerly Elk Meadows). The resort has a unique concept. The lifts operate regularly only from Friday to Sunday, so any snowfall during the week remains untouched on the slopes. This makes Friday one of the best opportunities in all of Utah to experience fresh powder while skiing and snowboarding, and to enjoy untouched deep-snow slopes in the diverse winter sports area of Eagle Point.
