Description Deer Valley

Deer Valley is one of the ski resorts in Park City and is the most exclusive. From Park City, you can quickly reach the Snow Park Lodge, from where the Carpenter Express and Silver Lake Express, two detachable quad chairlifts, swiftly take winter sports enthusiasts into the Deer Valley ski area.

From the Silver Lake Lodge, you can glide up to Bald Mt. and Flagstaff Mt. on additional chairlifts. Four detachable quad chairlifts converge at Flagstaff Mt., and you’ll mostly find intermediate forest runs here. Via the Empire Canyon Lodge, you can take the detachable quad chairlift Empire Express up to the 2,917-meter-high Empire Canyon, the highest point in the Deer Valley ski area. On treeless slopes, you’ll find additional powder runs here.

With the Ruby Express, you return to Flagstaff Mt. and can carve your way back to Silver Lake Lodge on intermediate runs. The runs on Bald Mt. are somewhat more challenging than those on Flagstaff Mt., and you’ll find excellent conditions. The Sultan and Mayflower chairlifts provide access to the mountain from the backside.

To reach Bald Eagle Mt., which connects to Snow Park Lodge and Jordanelle, you can take either the Crown Point triple chairlift or the short Homestake quad chairlift. From here, you can ski down easy to difficult runs to Snow Park Lodge, or take gentle slopes down to the Jordanelle Express quad gondola. Along this modern gondola with leather seats, you’ll find many exclusive private villas and ski trails spread across the entire mountain.

At the main hubs in the ski area, lodges are available for refreshments. Après-ski is also offered in some places. Beginners will also find their territory in Deer Valley. At Snow Park Lodge, there are conveyor belts and double chairlifts for beginners.
