The new Col Chécruit-Cresta d'Arp aerial tramway with 100-person cabins replaces the Col Chécrouit-Cresta di Youla and Cresta di Youla-Cresta d'Arp gondola lifts after more than 60 years of service in Courmayeur. The new, modern 100-person cable car runs directly to Cresta d'Arp without an intermediate station at Cresta di Youla. It significantly increases the transport capacity to 1,200 people per hour, while the travel time is also considerably reduced.
