Access & on-site parking
The Coronet Peak ski area is located on the South Island of New Zealand. It is the local mountain of Queenstown, which is 16 km away. The journey takes around 20 minutes. From Arthurs Point, you drive about 8 km up a partially paved mountain road to the parking lots at the ski area. The parking lots are located below the base station, and you have to walk a short distance. If you park a bit further away, you can use the free shuttle bus. This shuttle runs continuously throughout the day between the designated pick-up areas and the base station building. From the parking lots at Greengates Express, you can access the slopes directly. It is strongly recommended to bring snow chains.Mobility on-site
- Comprehensive ski bus network
- No scheduled buses
- A special bus service operates all day from the center of Queenstown. In addition, there is also a night bus for night skiing.
