Access & on-site parking
The Italian ski resort Cima Piazzi/San Colombano is located in the northeast of Lombardy, just west of Bormio. It is accessible from two sides, with entry points in Isolaccia (Valdidentro) and in Le Motte/Oga (Valdisotto). Free parking is available. The ski resort can only be reached from the north via Switzerland. Access is through the toll Munt la Schera road tunnel and Livigno. The road tunnel is single-lane, and traffic alternates in one direction at a time. On Saturdays in winter, there are special regulations, and the direction is not changed for several hours. Please check for updates!
If coming from the south, the journey is via Tirano and Bormio. In winter, many mountain passes are closed, so these are the only two access routes.
Winter Closure
The Stelvio Pass and the Gavia Pass are closed for the winter. Due to their location, please always check the road conditions, as some passes in the surrounding area may also be closed at short notice.
