Beginners Brauneck – Lenggries/Wegscheid

Beginners will find ideal practice areas at the valley stations. In Wegscheid at Draxl- and Jaudenhang as well as in Lenggries at Streidl- and Zielhang (valley station Brauneckbahn), there are wide and easy slopes. These are served by numerous drag lifts, rope tows, and conveyor belts. The large children's areas of the ski schools offer additional conveyor belts and rope tows. Those who are already confident on skis can also make it from the mountain station of the Brauneck cable car down to Wegscheid. The four-kilometer-long and fully snow-covered family run is of medium difficulty and a real pleasure. In general, however, the slopes above between Brauneck and Idealhang are not suitable for beginners. The black World Cup run should definitely be avoided.
