The Blomberg ski area is located about five kilometers west of Bad Tölz on the B472, within the municipality of Wackersberg. Around the Blombergbahn, you can enjoy leisure activities all year round, and in winter, you can also go skiing, snowboarding, and tobogganing. Around the Blombergbahn, you can enjoy leisure activities all year round, and in winter, you can also go skiing, snowboarding, and tobogganing. The main attraction is now the Blomberg Blitz, a former summer toboggan run that has been extensively expanded and upgraded to become the "Alpine Roller Coaster." The Blomberg Blitz is now in operation year-round, including in winter.

As a skier, you can take the relatively slow double chairlift via a mid-station up to 1,236 meters on the Blomberg. The family run from the mid-station is of medium to high difficulty. The main run at Gamssteig, starting from the Blomberg mountain station, is a sporting challenge that once made Blomberg famous as a ski area. Both slopes are no longer groomed and can now only be used as ski routes, so you should be an advanced skier. At Blomberg, there are also natural toboggan runs in all three levels of difficulty, which, with sufficient snow, lead from the summit down to the valley and offer plenty of fun.
