Description Biberwier – Marienberg

The Biberwier ski area is part of the Langes Resorts, just like the Lermoos ski area. Biberwier is a quiet place, and the lower part of the ski area is perfectly suited for beginners. The detachable six-seater chairlift Marienbergbahn I takes you up to the Talblick mid-station. From there, the double chairlift Marienbergbahn II continues up to Marienberg.

The somewhat hidden Jochlift drag lift takes winter sports enthusiasts over the crest to the sunny plateau. Here, the Almlift drag lift provides access to a short ski route and an easy descent. The runs from Marienberg are easy to intermediate, and there is also a ski route back down to the valley. You definitely shouldn’t miss the cozy and rustic Sunnalm, where you can enjoy hearty snacks or elegant dinners either on the sun terrace or inside the cozy hut by the open fireplace. You can then ski back down to the valley via the Standard or Knäbleslochabfahrt runs.

The valley run starts at the top station of the Schöner-Hang-Lift drag lift, which takes you a bit higher from the Talblick mid-station and provides access to the easy descent. In the past, the drag lift went all the way up to Marienberg, but since the double chairlift was introduced, the drag lift has been shortened and now serves beginners. Valley run No. 1 is an easy and very wide slope that leads down to the base station of the six-seater chairlift. Beginners will find their territory here, and the run is very easy to reach, as you can float up to the start with the detachable six-seater chairlift.

In Biberland, located just above the base station, there is a conveyor belt, and while the children enjoy winter sports, parents can watch them from the Biberschirm. There is also a bit of après-ski here after skiing. In summer 2007, the MyTirol Hotel opened directly on the ski slope. The small Biberwier ski area is a cozy place where you can spend time with the whole family. You won’t find any pushing or hectic activity here.
