The beauty of the Berwang/Bichlbach/Rinnen ski area is that it combines a family-friendly, manageable size with appealing variety. Here, you can ski and snowboard right down into the villages. And since the ski circuit stretches from Berwang, the highest village in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena, allThe beauty of the Berwang/Bichlbach/Rinnen ski area is that it combines a family-friendly, manageable size with appealing variety. Here, you can ski and snowboard right down into the villages. And since the ski circuit stretches from Berwang, the highest village in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena, all the way to Bichlbach and Rinnen on the opposite side of the valley, you can follow the sun’s rays as you ski. A special highlight in the ski area is the “Bärenrunde,” which leads from Bichlbach up to the Almkopf, then continues via the Sonnalmbahn in Berwang and the Biliglift to the Thanellerkarlift. From there, you take the ski trail to the Panoramabahn Rastkopf, and if you still have energy, you can tackle the steep run from the Rastkopf, prepared with natural snow, before heading back to Berwang via the Mooslift. If it happens to be Thursday, you can even enjoy night skiing. Otherwise, you can end the day with a round of tobogganing, ice skating, or curling. Or perhaps with a culinary treat, in a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. What a wonderful winter sports area!
