Obere Karbahn II (YOC 2025)
New 10-seater gondola lift at Thanellerkar in Berwang

The Obere Karbahn II, together with the first section Obere Karbahn I, connects the Egghof parking lot via a mid-station with the area of the old Thanellerkarlift. The 10-seater gondola lift is part of a major modernization project in Berwang.

The Obere Karbahn II replaces the upper part of the Thanellerkarlift. It connects to the first section, the Obere Karbahn I, and the 6-seater chairlift Thanellerbahn. The construction not only provides more comfort for guests, but also extends existing slopes, as the new mountain station is situated 140 meters higher in elevation than the end of the previous drag lift.

The mid-station of the Obere Karbahn and the valley station of section II will be the location of a new mountain restaurant. It can be reached with the Obere Karbahn I and the 6-seater chairlift Thanellerbahn.
