New 3-cable gondola lift to Col Rodella

The new 3S gondola Campitello-Col Rodella replaces the 125-cabin cable car Campitello-Col Rodella. This modern lift system from Doppelmayr offers significantly more comfort with heated seats and panoramic windows, as well as a higher transport capacity. The continuous operation also reduces waiting times.

In terms of energy and the environment, the 3S gondola Campitello-Col Rodella is state-of-the-art: heat recovery uses waste heat from the engines to heat the stations, full soundproofing of the drive motors and vibration damping on the supports reduce noise levels. The stations of the central lift system have also been redesigned. The valley station, now located behind the existing parking lot, also houses the ski school, ski rental, ticket office, and storage. The new mountain station is slightly offset, partially underground, and attractively integrated into the landscape with many glass elements.
